Puddles!
Arguments are so often made about what children enjoy the most in play, but all children are different, and one of the most beautiful things is just sitting back and watching them explore the world around them.
Whenever Gracie sees a puddle, she immediately takes off her shoes in preparation. Hot or cold, she doesn't mind, she just likes to splash and squish her toes in the mud, and feel the textures under the water, knowing that wet feet can always be dried! Gracie is an expert at testing the waters, her little toes dipping in to test the temperature, depth and potential spikies - tentative steps soon giving way to enthusiastic jumps and kicks, always accompanied by a huge grin!!
